Welcome to Baghdad Science Journal, a distinguished publication managed by the College of Science for Women at the University of Baghdad. Since its establishment in 2004 and rebranding in 2009, the journal has upheld a rigorous double-blind peer review process with two external reviewers to ensure scientific integrity and excellence. While authors may suggest potential reviewers or request exclusions, the final decision remains with the editor. Published exclusively in English, the journal operates under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license, promoting broad accessibility and reuse of its content. Beginning in 2024, it will transition to a monthly publication schedule, encompassing diverse fields such as Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics. It accepts various article types, including original studies, editorials, special issue articles, and invited reviews. Indexed in prominent databases like Scopus, WoS, and Google Scholar, the journal guarantees global visibility. The average timeline from submission to acceptance is four months, with articles typically published seven months after acceptance. We welcome contributions that advance the frontiers of science.
